I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt

of your despatch No.207 of the 3rd July, 1922, and to express regret for the omission to reply to your despatch No.341 of the 20th October, 1921.

Owing to the fact that the Crown Agents were notified as to the adjustment of Mr. E. J. Hedge's pension

under the revised scheme it was thought that no further action was required.

Mr. Hedge was granted an increase from £126

per annum to £144 per anmam with effect from the 16th

August, 1920.
